The Delhi Bharatiya Janata Party's SC Morcha is all set to organise Bhim Mahasangam, an outreach programme, on Sunday. At a press conference, Delhi BJP president Manoj Tiwari on Friday said, "The event will create positive energy against the negative atmosphere being created by the opposition." The programme will be held at Ramlila Maidan.

Tiwari enlisted four main features of the event including Samrasta Khichdi, which the party plans to cook 5,000 kg to create a world record. "The first feature is that we have collected a fistful of rice and lentils each from 3 lakh families of SC community as a symbol of support and pledge to make Narendra Modi the Prime Minister again. For the last three months, our workers were engaged in collecting the raw material," he said.

"Secondly, we are going to top the world record of cooking 3,000 kg food in one utensil by Nagpur-based chef Vishnu Manohar. The same person will create a new record by cooking 5,000 kg of Samrasta Khichdi in another utensil at this programme," he further said.

Speaking further about the highlights of the Bhim Mahasangam, the BJP leader said, "We had prepared 14 lakh, Sankalp Patras, to make this campaign successful. The SC Morcha workers contacted 14 lakh people through the Sankalp Patra. They have also apprised them of the public welfare schemes run by the Central government."

"Positive energy will be created at Ramlila Maidan against the negative politics of Rahul Gandhi and Congress Party. This will bring positivity for society and through this programme not only the party but also the nation will win and negativity will be defeated," Tiwari concluded.

Addressing the media persons, Delhi BJP vice-president Abhay Verma said around 25,000 people will enjoy the Samrasta Khichdi which will be cooked at the venue itself.
