In the gruesome case of the 26-year-old bartender, Vipin Joshi, who was hacked to death in Saidulajab area of south Delhi's Saket, the police are conducting raids at several places in and around the National Capital Region (NCR) to nab the accused.

Joshi's chopped body parts were found stuffed inside a fridge.

According to the police, Joshi had been missing since last Monday. The police suspected his chef friend Badal Mandal's role in the disappearance, as he also went missing the same day.

Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (South), Chinmoy Biswal stated that they are conducting raids to nab the accused. "After his arrest, the motive behind the murder will be cleared," said Biswal.

Police sources claimed that they were probing several angles behind the incident and it can be a crime of passion or there can be a love angle behind the murder, as they were best friends according to the deceased's family.

On Saturday night, horror and shock gripped a team of the Delhi Police when its search for the missing 30-year-old bartender lead it to his colleague's south Delhi house where his body was found chopped into three pieces and stored in a refrigerator.

Joshi lived with his brother in a rented house in the adjacent lane. He worked at FIO Country Kitchen & Bar at the Garden of Five Senses, a 20-acre leisure space run by the Delhi government for the public.
