Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal cleared three development projects stuck in the power tussle between the state government and the Lieutenant Governor's office.

Kejriwal approved the doorstep delivery of rations in the morning, over-ruling "all objections," cleared the final instalment for completion of a 'signature bridge' and two new academic blocks in the Delhi Technological University (DTU).

"Approved Doorstep Delivery of Rations. Overruled all objections to the proposal. Directed Food Dept to start its implementation immediately," Kejriwal said on Twitter. "Directed dept to keep me informed of daily progress," he added in another tweet.

Doorstep ration delivery has been one of the issues over which the AAP government had been jostling with the L- G and the Centre.

Baijal had advised the government to reconsider the proposal and focus on digital delivery of services.

Earlier, Sisodia had targeted the chief secretary Anshu Prakash and blamed him over the delay in doorstep delivery of ration services. This was also discussed in the meeting that happened at the residence of Kejriwal in February.

"After missing multiple deadlines due to inadequate funds, the iconic bridge in Wazirabad will open to public in October," Kejriwal said.

The technical university proposal relates to the construction of five buildings -- two academic blocks of 10-storey each and three hostel blocks of 13-storey each at DTU, Shahabad Daulatpur, Bawana Road at an estimated cost of approximately Rs 292 crore.

Kejriwal said the work of installing CCTV cameras would be put on the fast-track after he "directed the Public Works Department (PWD) Secretary to place the proposal" at a cabinet meeting on July 10.

Projects Approved

Signature Bridge: The Rs 1,500 crore project was proposed by the Sheila Dikshit govt in 2004. Initially, it was to be ready for the 2010 Commonwealth Games. The bridge had obtained environmental clearance in 2011 and was set to be completed by Dec 2013

Doorstep delivery of ration: The AAP govt, in Nov 2017, had approved the proposal for Doorstep Delivery of Public Services to the residents. As per the plan, the Mobile Sahayak (facilitators) would be equipped with machines like biometric devices and a camera
