The autopsy of the bodies of the three doctors was done at a private hospital in Noida, but doctors at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) said that they had to reconstruct the bodies before sending them to their families.

"The faces of Dr Harshad and Dr Yahspreet showed the gravity of impact of the accident. The part of their brains were pouring out and their frontal and parietal bones were completely broken into pieces," said Dr Rajeev Ranjan, MD in Lab Medicine and Secretary of Resident Doctors' Association, AIIMS.

A team of doctors comprising Dr Ritin Mohindra, Assistant Professor, Emergency Medicine, and Resident Doctors of AIIMS had gone to Mathura to facilitate the post-mortem examinations, legal formalities and transportation of the bodies to AIIMS. The bodies were brought to the hospital on Sunday evening.
