In a fresh attack at the ruling government in the Capital, Delhi Congress chief Ajay Maken on Sunday said that the Congress has been organising the Workers Conventions in 20 Assembly Constituencies after the membership of 20 AAP MLAs were cancelled. He added that under the leadership of former Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit, around 30 lakh people were getting ration in the Capital, whereas under the AAP rule, only 19 lakh people have ration cards.

"We made a beautiful and green Delhi under the leadership of Sheila Dikshit, but in the last three years, the AAP government has ruined it and has rendered Delhi into the gas chamber due to the pollution," Maken said.

The grand old party has got back the support from its veteran leaders who had earlier criticised the party's leadership during the MCD elections last year. Dikshit was approached by Maken to collectively fight against the AAP government in the Capital. During the municipal elections in 2017, senior Congress leaders, including Dikshit, Haroon Yusuf, Dr AK Walia, Sandeep Dikshit had openly blamed the poor leadership for the disappointing results.
