Delhi BJP today described as "total failure" the first month's performance of Aam Aadmi Party government and demanded a conduct of a Gallup poll to know the view of the people across the city on the issue.
Senior Delhi BJP leader Harsh Vardhan said Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal failed to fulfil promises made to people before the polls and charged him of shielding Law Minister Somnath Bharti.
Kejriwal government today completed one month in office.
Vardhan accused the Chief Minister of misleading people on a number of issues and said they are getting "impatient" with the AAP government.
The AAP government has failed in its promise of setting up a Women Commando Force to ensure the safety of women. "It had promised to bring Jan Lokpal Bill but this promise has also not been fulfilled."
Vardhan said though the party had promised 700 litres of free water to each household every day free of cost, the government has managed to give only 667 litres.
"Similarly on the electricity tariff also he decided to provide subsidy to those whose monthly power consumption do not exceed 400 units," the Delhi BJP leader said.
