According to the police, the complainant approached the police on the night November 2, in which she alleged that one of her male friends called her to his house on the pretext of party in the locality.

A 21-year-old woman was allegedly gang raped by four men after spiking her drink at her friend's residence during a party in east Delhi's Ashok Nagar area. Police said that the incident took place on October 31 however no one has been arrested.
According to the police, the complainant approached the police on the night November 2, in which she alleged that one of her male friends called her to his house on the pretext of party in the locality.
"She has further alleged that during the party she was given a spiked drink after which she lost consciousness then her friend along with three other men allegedly took turns and raped her. They threatened her to face the consequences if she revealed the ordeal to anyone," said a senior police officer.
Following the complaint, a case under relevant section of the Indian penal code has been registered.
"All the men are named in the case. However, no arrest has been made so far as investigation is underway. The woman's statement has been recorded in front of the magistrate while her medical has also been carried out," said Pankaj Singh, Deputy Commissioner of Police (east).
