For years now, one of the most important discussions around cricket has been the future of Tests.

With T20 capturing fans' imagination, the longest format of the game faces the risk of losing its relevance. And to add to its woes, the recent T10 League tournament in Sharjah - featuring the likes of Virender Sehwag, Shahid Afridi, Eoin Morgan, Mohammed Amir, Alex Hales, Keiron Pollard, David Miller, Hassan Ali, Dwayne Bravo and Darren Sammy - seems to have got the public's approval too.

In an attempt 'feed my love of Test cricket', former Pakistan fast-bowler Waqar Younis offered a rather interesting suggestion to save the revered format.

"To feed my love of Test cricket and to build on this T10 initiative, how about T10 matches in Test format? Two innings, 10 overs each with leads/trails, follow on, etc. Innovation & change is the only way forward in this world. Thoughts?" he wrote on Twitter.

The legendary pacer's idea, though, didn't find any buyers. Fans ripped Waqar's suggestion to shreds, asking him to not tamper with Test cricket's format.
