Rebel Women's Big Bash League (WBBL) 2018-19: Smriti Mandhana hit a brilliant 24-ball half century to help Hobart Hurricanes beat Melbourne Stars by 72 runs in the ongoing Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL) 2018-19.
Mandhana opened the innings for the Hurricanes and smashed 13 boundaries in her innings of 69 runs off 41 deliveries to help her team post 196-6 in 20 overs. Hurricanes then bundled out Melbourne Stars Women for just 124 runs.
Hobart Hurricanes lost opener Erin Fazackerley for just 6 runs but Smriti Mandhana and Hayley Matthews kept smashing the Melbourne Stars attack all over the park.
Matthews departed run out after scoring 42 off 30 balls with four boundaries and two sixes. Mandhana fell in the 14th over.

It was a good day for India recruits at the Rebel Women's Big Bash League as Harmanpreet Kaur also scored a half-century for her team the Sydney Thunder.
Both the fifties set records as they were fastest ever for their respective teams, ICC reported. While Mandhana scored 50 off 24 balls, Kaur reached the fifty-mark in 23 balls.
