Watch: 'Touching moments' as Indian, Australian players hand McGrath family pink caps as support of their charity

The morning of Day 3 of the ongoing fourth and final Test at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) was a pretty special morning as the entire stadium turned pink in support of Glenn McGrath's foundation. 

The official account of McGrath foundation shared videos which showed the Indian and Australian players handing a pink cap each to the McGrath family as a mark of respect to late Jane McGrath, who lost her battle to breast cancer in 2008.

Over the last few years, ever January the SCG turns into a sea of pink in the honour of Jane McGrath and the New Year Test at the SCG has been giving special attention as it is also called  "The Pink Test". 

The money raised during the match goes to the Glenn McGrath foundation, which was started by the former Aussie cricketer and his wife Jane following her recovery from breast cancer. Three years later, Jane passed away and the Pink Test came into existence from the following year.

The first time the SCG hosted the Pink Test was back in 2009 when Australia played South Africa. So far, the tradition has continued for 10 years with the Australia-India game is the 11th. 

The Day 3 of the Pink Test is called "Jane McGrath Day" and the fans at the SCG will wear pink to show their support. In a few cases seen so far, sometimes the players themselves show their support to the cause by having a pink grip and pink stickers on their bats.

The Indian captain Virat Kohli was one of those to do when he came out to bat in the opening day of the Pink Test on Thursday.
