WATCH | Team India celebrate Manish Pandey's birthday after Kolkata ODI win

Team India were in celebration mood after India beat Australia at the Eden Gardens to win the second one-day international to take a 2-0 lead in the five-match series on Thursday.

But the celebrations did not just include the victory. Manish Pandey got a surprise from the Indian cricket team on his birthday on Thursday. 

Though it was two weeks after his birthday i.e. September 10, Team India celebrated Pandey's 28th birthday after the victory on his 'home' ground.

In a video posted by a fan club, Pandey can be seen celebrating with Indian cricket team and staff members.

After the traditional cutting of the cake, the right hander's face was painted with cake. Dhoni was seen holding Pandey from the back while Axar Patel, Yuzvendra Chahal, team physio Patrick Farhat smeared a helpless Pandey with cake. 

India and Asutralia will now face off in Indore. While Team India will look to take an invulnerable lead and pack up another series, Manish will try to add some runs in his account to keep his place secure at the number 4 position.
