Not cool, Hardik Pandya.

Virat Kohli completed his 21st Test century early on Monday to give India the perfect start to Day 3 of the second Test against South Africa.
However, the visitors soon suffered a major setback as Hardik Pandya was dismissed in the most bizarre fashion at the Centurion.

Batting on 15, Pandya nudged one towards mid-on and set off for a single. Kohli, though, was in no mood to take the run and sent the all-rounder back.
What should've been an easy return journey back inside the crease for Pandya, turned into disaster. The 24-year-old, as casual as one can be, failed to ground his bat and was run-out by a direct hit from Vernon Philander.

Commentators on air, including Sunil Gavaskar, Sanjay Manjrekar and Harsha Bhogle, were furious at Pandya's lax attitude. The partnership between Kohli and Pandya was critical as India needed more than 100 runs to get to South Africa's first innings total of 335 at that time.
Not just the pandits, Twitter was furious with Pandya's mode of dismissal too.

Great point made by Sanjay Manjrekar on air about the Hardik Pandya run-out: He says that there is a thin line between confidence and arrogance, gives an example of Sachin Tendulkar who was outrageously talented but never had arrogance.

For those comparing Hardik Pandya with Kapil Dev, Kapil was NEVER run-out in his Test career (184 innings).#SAvIND #INDvSA
