The Indian Premier League (IPL) auction is going to take place on January 27 and 28. A big pool of 578 players including 360 Indians will go under the hammer in Bengaluru. However, one name that may make the headlines is Jofra Archer. 

Jofra Archer is a Barbadian cricketer who plays for Sussex County Cricket Club. He has has rapidly become one of the most exciting young all-rounders in English county cricket. He is currently playing in the Big Bash league where he is making a lots of news. 

On Saturday, Jofra Archer pulled out another amazing run-out from nowhere. The Hobart Hurricanes man proved his 'true aim' as he managed a direct hit from the boundary line to get Perth Scorchers' Adam Voges out. 

Archer has earlier got out on a bouncer that knocked on the Michael Klinger's helmet before hitting the stumps. Such was the impact that the padding under the helmet flew behind the wicket.

Earlier, in their tie against Adelaide Strikers, the 22-year-old proved his sheer athleticism to stop the ricocheting ball and hit it onto the stumps, inflicting one crucial run-out.

An around the wicket yorker to Strikers' opener Alex Carey saw the batsman shoving it on the left side of the 22 yards. Super athletic Archer proved his impromptu cricketing awareness to plunge and collect the ball on the opposite side of his strands. The next moment was worth watching a thousand times! Archer fell down on the ground to find the batsman short of his crease by a landscape and he took his time to aim and shoot running Jake Weatherald out.

The sensational fielder was in the limelight previously for his outrageous one-handed catch to dismiss Ben Cutting while playing against the Brisbane Heat.

Of course, Archer's incredible run is sure to catch some IPL teams' attention. Archer is among the 578 players available for the auction of Jan 27, 28 with a base price of just 20 lakh.
