WATCH - Jofra Archer dismisses Marcus Stoinis with unplayable bouncer in ENG vs AUS 2nd ODI

England is currently taking on Australia in a much-awaited second ODI of the three-match series at Old Trafford, Manchester on Sunday (September 13). In chase of a respectable total of 232, Australia lost allrounder Marcus Stoinis to an implacable piece of bowling from star pacer Jofra Archer.

Upon winning the toss, England skipper Eoin Morgan opted to bat first as his side got off to a slow start after they lost Jonny Bairstow early on in the fourth over.

However, Morgan (42) and some late heroics from Adil Rashid (35*) and Tom Curran (37) helped the Three Lions hoist a total of 231/9 from 50 overs.

On the chase, the visitors lost their dynamic opener David Warner (6) in the third over to Archer before the England pacer sent Stoinis back to the dressing room right after that with another class-oozing delivery.

Archer bowled a steaming short delivery which caught Stoinis (9) off guard, who ended up edging an easy catch for Jos Buttler to take behind the stumps.

Australia is currently leading the three-match ODI series 1-0 after convincingly winning the first match in Manchester.

However, the hosts will be determined to bag a comeback in the second ODI to set the final match on the balance.
