If he keeps bowling like this, Ishant Sharma could be really useful to Virat Kohli's Team India during the tour of England later this year.

While most Indian cricketers are busy sweating it out in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL), pacer Ishant Sharma is making the best use of not getting a contract in the cash-rich T20 extravaganza. The lanky pacer landed a contract with English County side Sussex and ended up taking a five-wicket haul on debut.
Ishant, with figures of 20.2-4-53-3 and 9-3-16-2, helped Sussex draw with Warwickshire at Birmingham. The 29-year-old will play the first two months of the County season. Which means he will compete in five games in the County Championship and all eight group matches in the One-Day Cup.

Not just Ishant, even Test specialist Cheteshwar Pujara is plying his trade in the County Championship. The right-hander wasn't picked up by any IPL franchise and decided to make the most of his time by competing in domestic English cricket. Pujara has previously played for Derbyshire, Yorkshire and Nottinghamshire, and has gone back to Yorkshire this time around.
India's tour of England from July this year is important for Virat Kohli's men in more ways than one. Not only will the visitors try to show the world that they are truly the best team in the longest format of the game, they will also want to improve their poor record in England.
Keeping this in mind, skipper Virat has decided to depart for England as soon as IPL 2018 gets over. The talismanic batsman wants to get as much practice in English conditions so that he's best prepared to correct his failure of the past. Virat will play a few games for Surrey just before Team India's first match in England.
