Watch IPL 2018 RCB vs DD: Boult from the blue - Kohli left in dismay as Trent takes stunning catch

We have seen several amazing catches in T-20 leagues over the years. Some have even turned the course of matches and tournaments. But very rarely, you would see a finer catch than that one taken by Kiwi fast bowler Trent Boult on Saturday in Bengaluru. 

Boult surprised one and all including himself by plucking a stunner out of thin air to dismiss RCB captain Virat Kohli. Kohli, who was not having the best of days after surviving an edge and being involved in a run-out was gradually coming into form.  Of the final ball of the 11th over, King Kohli whipped a full-toss from Harshal Patel to the square-leg boundary. It looked like a sure-shot six with ball travelling at  jet-speed. But boundary rider Trent Boult had other ideas. 

Boult who is a left-handed cricketer, managed to stick out his right hand and catch the ball. But the trick part was not to touch the rope. Boult managed to keep his balance and managed to ensure that his feet didn't touch the fence.

It was truly a master catch, which left Kohli distinctly shocked and perplexed. He was dismissed for 30 of 26 balls.  Batting first Delhi Daredevils scored 174/5 in 20 overs with Risabh Pant top scoring with stellar 85 of 48 balls.
