Gautam Gambhir, who last played a One-Day International (ODI) in 2013 and last played a Twenty20 International (T20I) in 2012, made his commentary debut during the first T20I between India and Australia on Wednesday.
The discarded Indian cricketer was a part of the Sony Pictures Network team along with the likes of Harsha Bhogle, Ashish Nehra and Gaurav Kapoor.
Ahead of his new stint, he had some fun with the likes of Kapoor and Nehra, who took the charge of styling Gambhir ahead of the Brisbane match.
Gambhir apparently found the whole thing funny as he trolled Nehra on social media. He posted a video showing the same with a caption, "“Now this is called padding up in @SPNSportsIndia dressing room. And look whom do I have as a stylist: the pleasing #Nehraji!!! Is this tougher than facing the new ball? Well… @BCCI @gauravkapur @harbhajan_singh #ChhodnaMat #SPNSports #IndiaAustralia.”

Going into the first T20I, Team India were undoubtedly favourites considering the hosts have seen their worst phase in limited-overs cricket in recent times.
However, the visitors got a reality check when they fell short by four runs and Australia snatched a much-needed victory and went 1-0 up in the series.
India have themselves and no one else to blame for this result as the captain and the rest of the boys made errors that could have been easily avoided but eventually, cost them the match.
The next match is scheduled to be played on Friday at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
