Watch: Dwayne Bravo hints at possible international comeback for West Indies in his latest post

Former West Indies cricketer Dwayne Bravo recently generated a lot of buzz after hinting at coming out of his retirement due to desire to play for his country again.

The ex-Windies skipper brought an end to his 14-year-old international career last year in October but has represented numerous teams in T20I format of the game.

However, since West Indies' loss in the T20I against Pakistan in September 2016, the 36-year-old has not been part of the national side after his fall out with the country's cricketing body.

Bravo posted a video on social media in order to congratulate the Widnes side on their 3-0 against Afghanistan in ODI cricket.

In that Instagram video, Bravo said, “As a former West Indies player, but... may soon come out of ..retirement...anyway, it gives me great joy to see not only team doing well after five years but to all Caribbean fans, this is a return of the team.”

“The last five years was the worst of West Indies cricket. Just a few individuals with a lot of egos and bad intentions, trying their best to sabotage a few individuals, end a lot of careers."

"The long and short of the story is that every rope has an end. The longest rope has an end, and thank god that it has come to an end,” he added.

The versatile cricketer has earned 40 Tests caps, 164 ODIs and 66 T20Is for West Indies since making his debut for international debut way back in 2004.
