D'Arcy Short brought up his hundred from just 83 balls and reached his double century from just 128 deliveries. Short blasted 23 sixes during his innings. He is only the second man to hit 23 sixes in one-day cricket joining Colin Munro of New Zealand.
Short joined Ben Dunk, Phillip Hughes and Travis Head in scoring a one-day double ton on Australian soil and beat Dunk's mark of 229 not out as the highest score by an Australian crickter in one-day cricket.
