Pakistan's former skipper Shahid Afridi is gearing up for one more comeback, this time with Pakistan Super League. The T-20 format will see Afridi knocking balls out of the park and the swashbuckling cricketer thinks it begins with Shoaib Malik.
PSL 2018 is set to begin on February 22 in the UAE.
The final match will be played on March 25.
A month-long affair will see six teams battle for the title – Peshawar Zalmi, Lahore Qalandars, Quetta Gladiators, Islamabad United, Karachi Kings, and Multan Sultans.
The trophy for this edition was unveiled in Dubai on Tuesday. Team captains Darren Sammy, Shoaib Malik, Imad Wasim, Brendon McCullum, Misbah-ul-Haq and Sarfraz Ahmed joined PCB chief Najam Sethi for the press conference for the same.
While Shahid Afridi is not a captain of any team, he will play for the Karachi Kings. Afridi joined the fellow players on the stage.
But not before middling some balls.
A what should be a locker room-kind of fun moment between Afridi and Multan Sultans' skipper Shoaib Malik was caught on the camera and it is racing to be the viral video of the day.
