The coronavirus pandemic has brought all sports activities to a halt and players are practising social distancing and self-isolation during the pandemic.

The World Health Organisation (WHO) and the governments all around are urging people to stay at home.

India so far has 873 confirmed cases of the coronavirus, as per the Health Ministry, while 19 people have died due to the highly contagious virus.

Due to the virus outbreak across the globe, clubs, franchises and sports bodies are trying to keep fans entertained through the internet.

Players have been sharing their day-to-day tasks on social media to keep fans updated and entertained as the world entires precautionary lockdown.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) recently took to Twitter and shared a video of Rishabh Pant working out in isolation.

The wicketkeeper-batsman can be seen running on a treadmill and doing side planks to keep himself in shape and healthy.

"Indoor workout featuring @RishabhPant17 #StayHomeStaySafe," BCCI captained the video with.

Pant is a key part of the Delhi Capitals (DC) side for the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), which the BCCI on March 13 decided to suspend till April 15, 2020, due to the deadly virus outbreak.

In a statement, the BCCI said that it "will work closely with the Government of India along with the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and all other relevant Central and State Government departments in this regard".

The opening match of this year's IPL was supposed to be played between the most successful teams of IPL - defending champions Mumbai Indians (MI) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) - at the iconic Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on March 29.

The Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been put India under a complete lockdown from Tuesday midnight for the next 21 days. Celebrities including cricketers have been urging people to adhere to the guidelines issued by the health authorities and government.
