WATCH: 183 runs in 60 balls- Caribbean stars take Northern Warriors to record total in T10 League

183 runs is considered a very good score in T20 cricket- however, Nothern Warriors recorded the same total in just 10 overs during the ongoing T10 league. 

The caribbean stars in Nothern Warriors led by Nicholas Pooran displayed some power hitting against Punjabi Legends to put 183 runs in just 10 overs to record the highest ever total in T10 cricket in the 8th match of the 2018 T10 league on Friday.

Pooran scored 77 off 25 deliveries with ten sixes and two boundaries. Lendl Simmons hit 36 off 21 balls in a 107-run stand for the first wicket. Andre Russell then smacked six sixes in his bowl innings to score 38. Kieron Powell joined the party with 21 off 5 balls laced with two sixes and two boundaries.

It meant that there were 20 sixes and ten fours hit during the innings. 

Punjabi Legends could only manage only 84/7 in reply as Northern Warriors won the game by 99 runs. Ravi Bopara picked up 4/15 in his four overs.
