Shane Warne has cleared the air on 'too expensive to afford' comment on Wednesday, saying it was tongue-in-cheek.
On Tuesday, the Australia was quoted as saying by Mid-Day, "I am very expensive, I don’t think they can afford me. Virat Kohli and me can have a good partnership, but as I said, I am very, very expensive."
A day after the comment, Warne took to micro-blogging site and tweeted that his comments were taken in a lift and were tongue-in-cheek.
Re Indian coaching position. I was in a lift & was asked if I would put my hat in the ring I said "India can't afford me" tongue in cheek !
