Even Rohit Sharma joined the queue to congratulate Steve Smith for his outstanding innings.

Steve Smith, Joe Root and Virat Kohli are generally considered the best batsmen of this age. While Virat Kohli has set new records and achieved new landmarks in the Test series against Sri Lanka, Smith and Root are facing off each other in the biggest battlefield of all- the Ashes.
Smith on Saturday scored second double ton of his career during the third Ashes Test at the WACA, Perth. Smith became the first captain with a 200-plus score in an Ashes Test since 1993 when Allan Border had achieved this feat.
This is the second ton for Smith in the series after his century at the Gabba in the first match.
Australia already lead the series 2-0 and could take unassailable lead should they win from here.
Fans, former players and contemporaries were all praise for Smith's superb innings. Perhaps the best comment came from former England captain Michael Vaughan who wrote that Steve Smith has joined Virat Kohli in the 'Freak Category.'
Just having a glass of vino I have decided Steve Smith has joined @imVkohli in the Freak Category ... an incredible player ... #Justsaying #Ashes
