Indian players in Sri Lanka are gearing up for the limited-overs series and are making sure all the cricketers are in their top form. 

The Indian side has been having intra-squad matches to get the required practice session and team-building in check. 

So ahead of the series, the Indian cricket team was divided into Bhuvneshwar Xi vs Shikhar Dhawan XI. The first clash was won by Bhuvneshwar Xi and the likes of Hardik Pandya, Prithvi Shaw, Suryakumar Yadav, and Ruturaj Gaikwad got a decent hit. 

The Sri Lanka Cricket (SCL) posted a video of the same on their YouTube channel capturing all the fours and sixes that were hit. 

The video which spanned for about two minutes and 30 seconds saw Shaw, Pandya, Surya, and others striking the ball clean and big.

The SLC also shared a video capturing all the wickets that fell. In the video, Kuldeep Yadav was seen picking three wickets, while Navdeep Saini and Yuzvendra Chahal bagged a couple each. 

Chetan Sakariya and Deepak Chahar also picked up one wicket each, with the left-arm quick dismissing Dhawan, out caught behind. Saini's has sent back Devdutt Padikkal and Hardik Pandya.

As for the tour, India's six-match series will start with the ODIs and will be played on Tuesday at the Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. 

Under the guidance of coach Rahul Dravid, all eyes will be on the five uncapped players – Padikkal, Sakariya, Nitish Raina, Krishnappa Gowtham, and Gaikwad. Shaw and Sanju Samson will also be in focus who will be looking to cement their place in the India squad for the T20 World Cup. 

This will be India's last set of limited-overs matches before the World Cup takes place in October-November.
