Virat Kohli, Yuvraj Singh, fans react to India's memorable win against Sri Lanka in 2nd ODI

Team India came out on top in a riveting contest against Sri Lanka in the second ODI as they chased down the target of 276 runs after being 193/7 with all their main batters back in the shed. Fast bowling duo of Deepak Chahar and Bhuvneshwar Kumar stitched an unbeaten partnership of 84 runs off just 87 balls for the eighth wicket to help India complete a memorable come-from-behind victory to take a 2-0 unassailable lead in the three-match series.

Deepak Chahar starred with his maiden international half-century played the majority of the balls in the partnership and scored most of the runs too, smashing seven fours and a six on the way to his innings of 69 runs off 82 balls. Bhuvi provided him with the much-needed support with a 19-run knock. Earlier Suryakumar Yadav notched up his maiden half-century in the ODIs as well laying a perfect setup to launch before being dismissed LBW by Lakshan Sandakan.

Regular Indian skipper Virat Kohli, former Indian all-rounder Yuvraj Singh and many other reacted to the win. Kohli commending the efforts of Surya and Chahar wrote, "Great win by the boys. From a tough situation to pull it off was an amazing effort. Great to watch. Well done DC and Surya. Tremendous knocks under pressure."
