Royal Challengers Bangalore's (RCB) clash with the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the 2018 Indian Premier League (IPL) is touted as a showpiece event in the T20 tournament.

The two teams go head to head at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium on Wednesday in an encounter that promises to provide some thrilling entertainment.

Although both teams are packed with match-winners, the tie is extra special because of the two captains involved. Mahendra Singh Dhoni's CSK have taken the tournament by storm after returning from a two-year hiatus. Virat Kohli's RCB, on the other hand, are always fan favourites because of the Indian captain and South African superstar AB de Villiers.

The exciting bit about the 'South Indian Derby', though, is that it brings together Indian's former and current captains. Dhoni handed over the reins of the Indian cricket team to Kohli after a near decade of dominance in world cricket. The duo share great mutual respect and have managed to work remarkably well since Kohli has taken over.

The crowd in Bengaluru was treated to a delightful sight on Wednesday as the genuinely warm camaraderie between the two stalwarts of Indian cricket was on display. The IPL made a post on its official social media account on Wednesday that contained a picture which will go down as one of the sweetest in the T20 tournament's history.

In the picture, Dhoni and Kohli can be seen in a warm embrace in the middle of the field before going for the toss. The smiles on their faces show just how happy they are to meet each other. "Reunited and how," IPL captioned its post on Twitter.
