Legendary singer Asha Bhosle turned 86 on Sunday and former Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar took to Twitter to wish her a long and healthy life.

Bhosle, also famously known as Asha Tai, is widely renowned for her playback singing in the Hindi and Bollywood cinemas.
Born on September 8, 1933, in a small town of Goar in Sangli, Maharashtra, the iconic singer started her career in 1943 and has spanned for over 60 years now.
Moreover, Asha Tai has recorded numerous private songs and albums.
In 2011, the Guinness Book of World Records acknowledged her as the most recorded artist in music history.
One of the most renounced singers in the world, Bhosle has provided playback for some super hit songs like 'Parde Mein Rehne Do', 'Piya Tu Ab To Aaja', 'Dum Maro Dum' among many others.
She was also crowned with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 2000 and the Padma Vibhushan in 2008.
