Sachin Tendulkar, Don Bradman would have been out to Mitchell Starc's 'ball of the summer': Graeme Swann

Swann said that that ball that dismissed James Vince is getting Sachin Tendulkar out 1000 times out of 1000, Don Bradman 1000 out of 1000, Steve Smith 1000 out of 1000 times.

Former England spinner Graene Swann feels that Mitchell Starc's 'ball of the summer' would have got even batsmen like Sachin Tendulkar and Don Bradman every time. Mitchell Starc clean bowled England's James Vince on the fourth day of the third Ashes Test with a delivery that did a lot off the surface- it was pitched on middle and leg and moved sharply to uproot the off stump.

Swann said that Starc’s delivery would have been unplayable for Tendulkar, Bradman or Steve Smith. Swann said that that it is the best delivery he has ever seen in live cricket.

“People who are saying it is an exaggeration do not know the game of cricket. Left arm around at 90 miles per hour, seaming more than a guy can spin the ball, that is the best ball I’ve seen live in Test cricket."

"That ball is getting Sachin Tendulkar out 1000 times out of 1000, Don Bradman 1000 out of 1000, Steve Smith 1000 out of 1000. It is unplayable,” Swann said while talking to Cricinfo.
