Legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar took to Twitter to celebrate Father's Day along with International Yoga Day.

The star shared a photo of him doing yoga along with his kids Arjun and Sara and captioned it: "Celebrating #FathersDay by doing some Yoga together!".

Earlier, the Master Blaster had tweeted along with an old photo with his father. Tendulkar wrote that he always remembers his father Ramesh Tendulkar's advice of being a good person.

He wrote, "I shall always remember your invaluable advice to "Strive to be a good person first". Thank you for everything".

Father's Day is celebrated to honour fatherhood and paternal bonds. It is celebrated in most countries on the third Sunday of June.

As for the International Yoga Day, the date June 21 was proposed by PM Modi. He said that the date was the longest day of the year in the mass northern hemisphere (shortest in the southern hemisphere), having special significance in many parts of the world.

From the perspective of yoga, the summer solstice marks the transition to Dakshinayana.
