Rishabh Pant gets off the mark with a six in Test cricket - who else has done it?

Rishabh Pant entered Test cricket straight away with a special record to his name during the opening day of the third Test between India and England at Trent Bridge on Saturday.

Pant got off the mark in the longest format with a six and thus became the first Indian player and overall just the 12th cricketer to score a six as his first scoring shot in Test cricket.

The other cricketers who did the same are Eric Freeman (Australia in 1968), Carlisle Best (West Indies, 1986), Keith Dabengwa (Zimbabwe, 2005), Dale Richards (West Indies, 2009), Shafiul Islam (Bangladesh, 2010), Jahurul Islam (Bangladesh, 2010), Al-Amin Hossain (Bangladesh, 2014), Mark Craig (New Zealand, 2014), Dhananjaya De Silva (Sri Lanka, 2016), Kamrul Islam Rabbi (Bangladesh, 2016) and Sunil Ambris (West Indies, 2017).
