On Father's Day, Gautam Gambhir salutes 'Dads' who 'wear mascara, lipstick and heels to work'

Gautam Gambhir is someone who always has a interesting take on the cureent affairs of the world. His tweet on Father's Day shows that he has a unique perception of the world arrond him. As the world celebrated Father's Day on Sunday, Gambhir saltuted the single mothers of the world who play the role of a father for their kids too.

Gambhir tweeted: "These dads put on a mascara,wear heels to work, wear that vibrant red lipstick...these dads shave too...but not their beards,their legs. Father’s Day, which is celebrated on the third Sunday of June, is an occasion that recognises the contribution made by fathers. 

Several sportspersons including Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar wished their fathers on the Special day. 

Tendulkar posted a black-and-white picture of himself with his father, and wrote, “My first hero and my inspiration forever, my dad."

Cricketer Shikhar Dhawan wrote, "Thanks papa hamesha mere saath khadey hone ke liye life mein. Aur jo aapne manners, kaise seva karna sikhaya aapne bachpan mein , hasta hoon mann mein ki us waqt woh cheez kitni boring lagti karna. Par wohi cheez main aaj apne bachon ko sikhata hoon.Happy Father’s Day."

Sports stars KL Rahul, Saina Nehwal and PV Sindhu also shared pictures with their fathers.
