Nidahas Trophy 2018 TV channel and telecast: Twitter asks, 'What's next- Sooryavansham on Sports channels?'

The 2018 Nidahas Trophy started on Tuesday as India took on Sri Lanka in the opening match. 

Shikhar Dhawan's valiant knock of 90 went in vain in the opening clash of the 2018 Nidahas Trophy, as the Lankans chased down the 175 target set by the visitors, with five wickets and nine balls to spare.

However, many fans missed the chance to see Dhawan's innings as they were left searching for the live broadcast of the match on TV. As the match was being broadcast on DSports, a channel not quite popular in India yet, and Rishtey Cineplex, which is an entertainment channel, many fans couldn't find where the match was being telecast. 

Most of them took to Twitter to ask for help and many were shocked to find the match being telecast on Rishtey Cineplex. This resulted in some funny reactions: 

#SLvIND Rishtey Cineplex is being given the Hindi telecast rights for the Trination t20 series in India.. I am sure the day is not far behind when Star Sports will telecast Sooryavansham regularly.
