Indian cricketer Mohammad Shami summoned by Kolkata's Alipore Court on September 20 in connection with the cheque bounce issue filed by his wife Hasin Jahan.

Earlier, Hasin, whose bitter spat with husband Shami hit the headlines, is back in the news for a sultry photoshoot. She has also announced her intention to re-start her modelling career to sustain herself while claiming that her legal battle against Mohammed Shami will continue.

On Sunday, Mohammad Shami’s estranged wife told DNA that she has returned to modelling after her five years. She alleged that the cricketer didn’t allow her to even step out of the house or speak to her male or female friends.

She said she is re-starting her modelling career after five years. She said she had no other option, but to try and earn money for her family, including her daughter.

She however added that she would continue the legal battle against Shami.

Shami had been booked under various non-bailable, including attempt to murder, and bailable sections after his wife lodged a complaint of domestic violence and infidelity against him.

Hasin then hinted that her husband may have cheated India following his alleged relationship with girlfriends from Pakistan and Dubai, which had prompted the Committee of Administrators (CoA) chief Vinod Rai to ask BCCI's anti-corruption body to submit a report in a week's time.

The cricketer recently failed the Yo-Yo test ahead of one-off Test match against Afghanistan.
