India needed less than half an hour to take the remaining two wickets as England were bowled out for 271 all out, setting India a target of 245 runs to win the fourth Test at Southampton on Sunday.

Mohammed Shami made a breakthrough on the very first ball of the day when he dismissed Stuart Broad for a golden duck.

As Broad would have expected a bouncer, Shami delivered a fuller length delivery. Broad played it away from his body and Rishabh Pant behind the wickets pounced on the produced healthy outside edge.

The final man to depart was Sam Curran, the hero of England’s tail once again this series. In an attempt to protect James Anderson from Ravichandran Ashwin, Curran decided to run for a second run and he never looked to make it safely.

With two days in hand, India have a huge chance to win the Test and stay alive in the series, in which they are trailing 1-2 at the moment.

The tourists will hope to get the required start from their openers KL Rahul and Shikhar Dhawan. The openers had shared a 60-run stand in both the innings in the previous match, which India had won.
