Virat Kohli is in exceptional form these days. On Wednesday, Kohli scored his 34th ODI century, 160 runs off 159 balls, to guide India to another big victory against South Africa.
At 29, Virat has already added 9000 one-day international runs with an average of 57.34.
His consistent run with the bat in the limited overs has many to call him the greatest limited-overs batsman of this age.
Now, former Australian skipper Michael Clarke has called him - the greatest ODI player of all-times. Earlier, former English skipper Michael Vaughan has also tagged Virat Kohli as the best player in the world, endearingly calling him a 'freak'.

Well played @imVkohli One of the best ODI 100’s I have seen. Played with a lot of maturity and responsibility especially when the team was under pressure.

Former Pakistan captain Javed Miandad has also said that Virat Kohli is a "genius who is the best batsman in the world".
In an interview with Pakpassion.net, Miandad praised his technique and said that Kohli's has all the hallmarks of a "great" batsman. "In Virat Kohli's case his batting method is what allows him to score runs not just once but almost every time he comes in to bat," Miandad said in the interview.
“What I really admire about Indian batsmen and the reason why they are so successful, is the fact that their batting technique is correct."
"If a batsman’s technique is bad, he can put some runs on the board once in a while, but he will not be able to do that consistently which is exactly true in Kohli’s case."
"To me, the mark of a great batsman, like Kohli is the fact that he can vary his technique by quickly understanding the strengths and weaknesses of the bowlers. Kohli is a genius who is the best batsman in the world.”
