Indian Premier League (IPL) has been the forerunner of the T20 leagues around the world. The success of the Indian T20 league has paved the way for many T20 leagues across the globe. It is therefore not surprising to see many of these leagues having similarities with IPL.
However, it seems IPL have even inspired not the overall nature of some leagues but also their colours. Social media on Friday was talking about how Pakistan Super League teams have been 'inspired' by IPL teams in their choice of colours and styles for their team jerseys.
A twitter uses pointed out how similar the jerseys were. He pointed out that Quetta Gladiators jersey looked like a cross between the uniforms of MI and KKR. Karachi Kings jersey also had the same colour scheme as Delhi Daredevils.
Looks like PSL has even copied the Jerseys from IPL. Karachi Kings vs Quetta Gladiators looks like a Delhi Daredevils vs Kolkata Knightriders match. @IPL @thePSLt20 pic.twitter.com/Dmej2koiw8
