The Indian cricket team are set to tour Australia later this year in a much-awaited series between the two nations.

While fans across the globe are absolutely ecstatic about the fourth coming Test series, Aussie head coach Justin Langer is also equally excited by the prospect of watching Indian skipper Virat Kohli go up against Pat Cummins and Jasprit Bumrah take on Steve Smith and David Warner.

This tour also means that the best in the business be going head-to-head in the longest format of the game.

"The entire team has grown as a unit including David and Steve. It was a difficult summer 18 months ago against a very impressive side which I still rate as one of the toughest I have seen. We learnt some lessons along the way," Langer was quoted as saying by multiple outlets.

"I always enjoy seeing the best of the best going against each other and in a series like Australia versus India, there will be many great players who will put on a show."

"Virat (Kohli) versus Pat Cummins, Steve Smith and David Warner vs Jasprit (Bumrah). It’s a tantalising prospect for any cricket lover," he added.

The coronavirus outbreak brought most sports activities to a halt with players practising social distancing and self-isolation during the pandemic.

The World Health Organisation (WHO) and the governments all around are urging people to stay at home.
