India’s Shikhar Dhawan will soon be back in action as the Australian ODI series are set to start from 24 February. However, the opening batsman seems to be making the most of his downtime with his family.

Dhawan took to Instagram and posted a video of him playing cricket with his son Zoravar. The video which is captioned, “After all, an apple can't fall far from the tree, haha. Catch Junior Dhawan in action! ;),”

The batsman also shared a video of him taking a dip into nostalgia. In the video captioned, “At times you wish that you could go back in time and take that dip! Don't you?” he can be seen jumping in the sea from a vessel.

Dhawan, along with Rohit Sharma have helped India get a great start in many series. The opening duo are all in to play the World Cup which is slated to be held later in the year.

Dhawan is also set to return to his local side Delhi Daredevils (DD) now called as Delhi Capitals in the upcoming edition of cash-rich Indian Premier League (IPL) after a long 11 year hiatus.

The 32-year old last played for the franchise in 2008 and later moved to Mumbai for a couple of years before finally strengthening the Hyderabad squad. He played for Deccan Chargers for a year before joining Sunrisers in 2013.
