IPL stars Prithvi Shaw, Deepak Chahar guide India A to victory in England

Prithvi Shaw, Shreyas Iyer, Ishan Kishan and Deepak Chahar, who performed really well for their sides in the Indian Premier League 2018, were on fire as India A side beat England Cricket Board XI side by 125 runs on Sunday. 

Shaw, who played for Delhi Daredevils in IPL 2018, top scored for the India A side with 70 runs off 60 balls against ECB XI in first of the two practice matches.

India A cptain Iyer, who also captained Delhi Daredevils in IPL 2018, also scored a half-century (54 runs off 45 balls) while wicketkeeper batsman Ishan Kishan scored 50 off 46 balls. Kishan has impressed with battig for Mumbai Indians in IPL 2018. 

India A were put in to bat after ECB XI won the toss. They posted 328 for 5 in their 50 overs.  

Shaw and Mayank Agarwal started the innings for India A. Mayank was out just for 4. However, India has already scored 43 runs by that time thanks to Shaw.

He and Hanuma Vihari (38) then took the score to 127 before Shaw fell to Ryan Higgins.

In reply, ECB XI were bundled out for just 203 runs with Chennai Super Kings' Deepak Chahar doing the damage. Chahar finished with 3 wickets in the match while Axar Patel got to wickets.
