The 12th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) has begun and Chennai Super Kings started on a high note by winning against Royal Challengers Bangalore. The second match of the IPL is between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) who will be looking to avenge 2018 Qualifiers defeat against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the Eden Gardens on Sunday (24 March).
Two-time champions KKR last won the IPL in 2014 under Gautam Gambhir's captaincy. As for SRH, all eyes will be on former skipper David Warner who returns to the side after a year. He missed the last season due to the ball-tampering scandal.
Kane Williamson will be leading the orange army while Dinesh Karthik who led KKR to the third place last season will look to make a strong start.
