Team India skipper Virat Kohli has expressed his best wishes before the first-ever Indian Premier League Women's T20 Challenge match between the IPL Trailblazers and Supernovas on Tuesday.

In a video posted on the official IPL Twitter account, Kohli called on Trailblazers captain Smriti Mandhana, Supernovas captain Harmanpreet Kaur to play with same passion that they’ve shown for the country.
The tweet said, “A message from #TeamIndia Skipper @imVkohli for @mandhana_smriti & @ImHarmanpreet as they gear up for the Women’s T20 Challenge tomorrow. #IPLWomen #Supernovas #Trailblazers.”
Kohli said in the video, “Hello everyone. I am really excited to understand there’s been a T20 league for women announced. And there’s going to be a game on 22nd May at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. It’s more like a teaser or trailer for that particular league.”
Wishing luck to Mandhana and Kaur, Kohli added, “Smriti and Harmanpreet are going to lead their respective teams so I wish you all the best. Take out your teams on the park and play with the passion that you have shown for the nation. Show people what they should look forward to when they come and watch the women’s T20 league as well. I wish you guys all the best and we will all be watching keenly. Good luck.”
The Trailblazers led by Smriti Mandhana will take on Harmanpreet Kaur's Supernovas just before the IPL 2018 Qualifier 1 between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH).
Leading international players like New Zealand's Suzie Bates, Australia's Alyssa Healy, Beth Mooney, Ellyse Perry, Megan Schutt and England's Danielle Wyatt will be part of the game.
