While Kings XI Punjab failed to make it to IPL playoffs, it seems that KXIP co-owner Preity Zinta has found differnt reasons to be happy.

Preity Zinta is happy because Mumbai Indians too did not qualify for the playoffs.

In a video that has gone viral on Twitter, Preity Zinta is seen talking to one of Kings XI member.

While there is no audio, she seems to be saying, “I am just very happy that Mumbai is not going to the finals..Really happy.”

The video was tweeted by a Twitter user.

Kings XI Punjab had to win thier last game against CSK by at least 53 runs to go into the playoffs. However, they didn't have much chance in a reasonably low-scoring affair.

Delhi Daredevils had done a favour to Punjab by knocking out Mumbai Indians with an 11-run win in the first match of the day as it kept Punjab in the hunt.

However, KXIP's hopes were wiped off when they were restricted to just 153 in the first innings.

In the end CSK won the match by 5 wickets.

Mumbai Indian too failed to make it to the playoffs of IPL 2018 as they lost to Delhi Daredevils by 11 runs in a thrilling encounter on Sunday at the Ferozshah Kotla.
