Three Indian players who are currently in New Zealand for the Under-19 World Cup have become crorepatis in Satuday's IPL 11 auction.
Kamlesh Nagarkoti who impressed one and all, including ex-Indian captain Sourav Ganguly with his raw pace was sold at Rs 3.20 cr. KKR managed to buy him after fending off bids from SRH and KKR. Nagarkoti is from Rajasthan and had a base price of Rs 20 lakh. He clocked over 145 km in group match against Australia and is already being hailed as the next big thing in Indian bowling.
U-19 star Shubman Gill who has hit a rich vein of form was amply gifted for his talent. With a bid starting at Rs 20 lakhs, KXIP, DD and RR started the bidding war and later KKR joined the party. Finally KKR got him for an impressive Rs 1.8 crore outbiding RR.
Indian U-19 Captain Prithvi Shaw who has already shown his class in domestic cricket also went for Rs 1.2 crore. DD bought him but RR, RCB also showed interest. One assumed Shaw would get top money among U-19 batters, but Shubman with a Bradmansqueu average in age group cricket, took the cake.

Rahul Tripathi who showed brilliance in patches for RPS last season got lot of bidders. RR, KXIP, DD, RCB all showed interest for him.
