Kolkata Knights Riders' Sunil Narine has pipped Mumbai spinner Mayank Markande to lead the race for the Purple Cap in IPL 2018. However, there are four bowlers tied at the top spot with eight wickets each.
KKR's Narine is on top by virtue of the best economy rate among the lot. He is followed by Mumbai's Mayank Markande and the RCB pace duo of Chris Woakes and Umesh Yadav.
Saturday was an action-packed day in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2018 as Kings XI Punjab defeated the Kolkata Knight Riders in a rain-curtailed game while Royal Challengers Bangalore got the better of the Delhi Daredevils.
