IPL 2018 Orange Cap: Shane Watson rises up with century, Virat Kohli still at top after matchday 14

Shane Watson scored the second century of IPL 2018 and rose to no. 3 in the list of leading run scorers of this season. Watson surpassed Chris Gayle, who has scored the first century of IPL 2018 season. 

The Chennai Super Kings batsman scored 106 from 57 balls, as CSK posted a challenging 204 for five against Rajasthan Royals. 

Sanju Samson, who had chance to surpass Virat Kohli to get to the top of the list of leading run scorers of this season, could add just 2 runs as RR lost the match by 64 runs. 

Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Kohli remained at the top with 201 runs in 4 matches. He sits ahead of Samson who now has 187 in five matches.

Kings XI Punjab batsman Chris Gayle sits at no. 4 with 167 runs in just two innings. Gayle had scored the first century of IPL 2018 on Thursday with 104 runs not out off 63 balls. 

KKR batsman Nitish Rana is fifth on the batting list with 162 runs in 5 innings.
