IPL 2018: MS Dhoni is having his best Indian Premier League ever

Mahendra Singh Dhoni has been in terrific form this season. The CSK captain once again looking like the best finisher in the world. 

The old Dhoni seems to be back in IPL 2018- he has been hitting sixes with ease and not letting the pressure of run rate get to him. It is the Dhoni fans were used to watching and cheering for- in his early years. 

Dhoni has not only won games for CSK, he has been very consistent too. 

Dhoni has scored 329 runs at a strike rate of 169.58 and an average of 82.25 in IPL 2018 so far. 

It seems that Dhoni is having the best IPL of his life. While Dhoni scored 461 runs in 18 games for Chennai in 2013 at a strike-rate of 162.89 with 4 fifties, he has already scored runs in half the number of games. Dhoni is averaging 82.25 this season, his best ever. His strike rate is 169.58, again his best in IPL.

On Thursday, MSD added 43 runs for CSK in the match against KKR. Dhoni faced just 25 balls and guided his team to 177/5 in their 20 overs at Eden Gardens. Dhoni hit four sixes and one four in his inning.
