It is difficult to gauge what Mahendra Singh Dhoni is thinking. At one time you may think he is a serious fellow who is all focused on his job. At other times, you will never know when he pulled a prank on you.

Former India cricketer and commentator Sanjay Manjrekar must be aware of it now. Dhoni pulled a quick one on Manjrekar during the toss of the IPL final at the Wankhede on Sunday evening.

Even as Dhoni tossed the coin, and Sunrisers Hyderabad skipper Kane Williamson called out 'tails', Manjrekar, who did not hear it, asked Dhoni if he called 'heads'.

Sensing an opportunity to pull a prank, the CSK captain, instead of clarifying, pointed at Williamson saying, "No, he called tails".

Manjrekar again asked MSD "Yes, you called heads", and Dhoni again replied "No, he called tails," before the latter gave a cheeky smile and everyone burst into a laughter.

The incident reminded many of the 2011 World Cup final, when a similar toss confusion happened involving India skipper Dhoni, Sri Lanka captain Kumar Sangakkara and commentator Ravi Shastri.

Then Dhoni lost the toss in the second attempt, but won the game with a memorable six.
