Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) got off to a horror start against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in their Indian Premier League (IPL) clash on Saturday.

Put into bat at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Pune, after CSK skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni won the toss and elected to field, the visitors found themselves in a deep hole early in their innings.

Star batsmen Brendon McCullum, Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers were sent back to the pavilion with RCB having just 56 runs on the board in the eighth over.

It was ABD's wicket, though, that had a special meaning to it. The South African got stumped to a delivery from Harbhajan Singh that would've been a wide down the leg side had he left it alone.

Surprisingly, this was the first stumping for Dhoni this in IPL 2018. The legend, as expected, was lightning quick behing the stumps as he dislodged the bails before De Villiers could even come close to dragging his foot back.

Saturday's game is a crucial one for Kohli's RCB. Languishing at sixth in the points table, and with just five more league games (after Saturday's) to come, the men in red cannot afford another let up.
