Indian captain Virat Kohli scored his 30th ODI century in the fifth and final ODI against Sri Lanka in Colombo. He brought his century in 107 balls.

By achieving the milestone, Kohli  is now tied with former Australia captain Ricky Ponting at second position for the most number of ODI tons. India’s Sachin Tendulkar tops the list with 49.

However, unlike Ponting who took 375 ODIs to achieve this feat, Kohli has managed this feat in his 195th ODI outing, resulting in an incredible conversion rate of a century in every 6.5 games he plays. In addition to this, Kohli has 45 half centuries and has an enviable ODI average of over 55.

In addition, he has six scores of 90 and above, of which two are unbeaten.
